„We know how to say what hurts us, we know how to talk, how to take care of ourselves and now, if we speak our mind, people look at us differently”, says Crenguța, one of the 500 women from Argeș and Ialomița counties with whom Filia worked. Later, she also became their colleague within the organization, as a community facilitator.
The international thematic event „Human rights from a gender equality perspective” brought together more than 20 organisations from Romania and Norway. The event took place in Bucharest between 20-21 January 2022 and it was organized by the Civil Society Development Foundation and the Norwegian organisation Frivillighet Norge under the Fund for Bilateral Relations.
The Association Close to Youth, in partnership with the New Horizons Foundation, builds character among secondary school students in Dolj County through the "HEROES" program, a personal development program that aims to increase self-confidence and assuming integrity as a principle of life.
