Being guided by the mission to „Build characters and help people grow through holistic education and support so they can develop their skills and competences starting from kindergarten to employment”, Adina Stiftelsen Romania Foundation has been implementing for the last 15 years activities addressed to vulnerable children, youth and families in rural areas of Dolj County.
Based on the premise that gender equality must be a fundamental value in society, the project "EGALIS: Gender equality through social change and education" works in the area that generates the most profound change: education.

January 2022 was the month when we met with over 20 NGOs from Romania and Norway at the workshop „Human rights from a gender equality perspective", organized in Bucharest by the Civil Society Development Foundation and Frivillighet Norge.
Norwegian experts have inspired us with examples of good practice that can be adapted to the Romanian context, but also with ideas on how civil society organizations can strengthen their role in advocacy and watchdog on human rights and equal treatment, gender equality and combating gender-based violence.
