A strong civil society is more important than ever to defend human rights, democracy and the rule of law. Solidarity and cooperation describes best what we see around us in these challenging days of the humanitarian crisis, whether we are talking about volunteers, non-governmental organizations, authorities or companies, or between countries.
45 organizations working in the field of human rights in Romania, Norway and other Beneficiary States within theActive CitizensFund programme participate between March 14 and 16 in networking activities and workshops on organizational development (communication, fundraising, sustainability strategies, activism media, team motivation, burnout, etc.).
The Active Citizens 4 Human Rights event takes place in Oslo, Norway and marks a year of online and offline activities aimed at strengthening a platform for learning and cooperation for non-governmental organizations, as well as developing bilateral relations.
The event is organized by the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, an entity designated by Norway to facilitate bilateral relations under the Active Citizens Fund programme, but also by The Civil Society Development Foundation and Frivillighet Norge on behalf of Active Citizen Fund Romania.
