ELIGIBLE PROJECTS

  • Small grants

Small NGOs are supported to enhance civic engagement in underserved areas and for underserved target groups.

There are strongly encouraged partnerships between small NGOs and more experienced NGOs that are already active at grassroots level, as well as with other stakeholders.

Protection of the environment and climate change shall be supported only as part of measures to promote civic participation, advocacy, social innovation and active citizenship.

  • RAPID RESPONSE GRANTS

Related to one of the two areas covered by the Call, there are supported initiatives that best respond to an emerging situation (threat or opportunity) closely related to the public agenda and/or affecting the NGO sector and that requires immediate action.

The essential requirement is to demonstrate the need for rapid reaction in order to solve/counteract the identified situation.

Not restricted to small NGOs; not restricted to underserved areas.

It is indispensable to read the Guidelines for Applicants which contains specific information for the preparation of applications and the rules for this Call (including eligibility of applicants, partners, projects).
