Currently, because of the travel restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, no application for Call 2 under the Bilateral Fund will be taken into consideration. The Fund Operator will announce in due time if the decision will change.
As part of the Active Citizens Fund Romania, the Fund for Bilateral Relations aims to contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between Romania and the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway). The objective of the current Call for proposals to support non-governmental organisations from Romania and entities from Donors States in developing sustainable partnerships and preparing and submitting an application for a donor partnership project under ACF Romania.
Eligible activities under the current Call for proposals are mobility activities that create or strengthen the base for present or future cooperation among Romanian organisations and Donor State entities in order to prepare and submit a donor partnership project under any of the Active Citizens Fund Romania Calls for proposals (any Round).
The total minimum allocation for the present Call for proposals is of 77,005 EUR. The minimum grant amount per project is 1,000 EURand the maximum is 3,000 EUR, with a limit of not more than 1,500 EURper participant per travel.
Co-financing is not required – the project grant rate may be up to 100% of the total eligible expenditure of the project.
The duration of the projects is minimum 0,5 months and maximum 1,5 months, and implementation period for the project must be set in such a manner that activities do not start prior to January 31, 2020 and are completed by June 30, 2021.
