Active Citizens Fund is launching today, August 24, three new Calls for proposals with a budget of almost 2 million euros for non-governmental and non-profit organizations, respectively:

  • Call #1.1 – Civic participation in response to the Ukraine crisis (single round call), with grants between 15,000 and 50,000 Euros. The objective of this Call is to enhance civic engagement for a better response to the Ukraine crisis.

  • Call #4.1 – Awareness on human rights and equal treatment for refugees fleeing Ukraine (single round call), with grants between 50,000 and 250,000. The objective of this Call means to provide support for refugees fleeing Ukraine, victims/at risk of discrimination or human rights infringement and to enhance awareness on human rights/equal treatment of refugees fleeing Ukraine.

  • Call #6.1 – Support for refugees fleeing Ukraine (single round call, with grants between 50,000 and 250,000. The objective of this Call is to provide support for protection and social inclusion of refugees fleeing from Ukraine.

The application process takes place online, on the platform https://finantaripublice.fdsc.ro, between August 24 and October 11, 2022, 4:00 p.m. (Romanian time).

The Calls are addressed to non-governmental organizations in Romania that have implemented or are currently implementing projects financed by Active Citizens Fund Romania as a project promoter or partner. These organizations can apply in partnership with other NGOs or public/private entities that can contribute to the success of the project.
