Do you want to be part of the new generation of young people who take civil society to the next level?
Then join us for the Program3 - a long-term training program for young people involved in the third sector, a school for those who want to contribute to the development of civil society in Romania and beyond.
Why is there a need for the Program3?
- According to the latest Romanian studies, there are not enough new people working for the third sector, even though the interest for getting involved in civic actions has increased;
- Most employees in the NGO sector are between 25 and 34 years old, but most leaders have been leading organizations for more than 8 years. Thus, the formation of a new generation of NGOs is an urgent need;
- Program3 is the first long-term initiative dedicated to young people involved in civil society. From 2019 we bring together people interested in developing the third sector through new approaches, learning at the same time from professionals in the field.
Who are we looking for the Program3? (please "selection criteria")
We are looking for at least 40 #trillenials, young people who:
- are involved in theor community, work in non-governmental organizations or volunteer for various causes,
- are aware of the importance of the third sector and are motivated to take it to the next level, thus having the potential to be part of the new generations of sector leaders,
- (încă) simt confuzie în fața complexității ONG-istice,
- are eager and willing to learn and practice working in NGOs,
- want to grow and do good for their communities,
- understand and respect the common values of respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for the rights tuturor.
Din perspectiva noastră, ești #trillenial dacă ai minim 18 ani și maxim 35 de ani, ai idee despre societatea civilă și lucrul în ONG, nu neapărat multă practică în domeniu. Te atrag subiecte sociale, civice, chiar dacă nu le stăpânești 100%. Ai făcut voluntariat sau te implici în viața comunității tale. Nu ți-ai găsit încă locul în sectorul ONG, dar nici nu vrei să renunți. Poate ai cochetat cu ideea de antreprenoriat social.
What happens in the Program3?
Program3 proposes a one-year learning process, structured in two semesters with a predefined curriculum, to which is added a customized learning process, depending on the needs and interests of each #trillenial, as follows:
The first semester va fi dedicat aspectelor tehnice ce țin de lucru în ONG cu introducere în OeNGeză și dezvoltare de abilități esențiale de lucru în ONG, precum scriere de proiect și management de proiect, dezvoltare organizațională, marketing și comunicare, managementul voluntarilor, management de evenimente, etc.
The second semester will be dedicated to the thematic aspects related to the involvement of the community at local level through community development, techniques and methods of public participation, methods and techniques of non-formal education, projects for the benefit of the community.
IMPORTANT!
The period of involvement of those selected is one year (October 2021 - October 2022). The selection will take into account the availability assumed in this respect, and the participation in various events within the Program3 will be conditioned by this involvement.
