cum construim impact colectiv în sectorul societății civile?
We know that nongovernmental organizations in Romania are ready and able to invest in their own development. How do we know it? Over the last 30 years, the Civil Society Development Foundation (CSDF) has worked with and for civil society organizations in Romania and we have constantly noticed their evolution, confirming the fact that the sector is maturing and is motivated towards constant improvement.
We are therefore starting to implement the #impact3 program, inviting civil society organizations from across the country to engage with an integrated organizational development process, in order to improve their ability to understand, measure and communicate the effects and impact of their work in the nongovernmental sector.
The #impact3 program
The program consists of a medium term process (a minimum of 3 months) which will take place online and offline for 4 regional cohorts and a national cohort and will involve the following steps for the selected organizations:
- Initial offline workshop (*): we meet selected organizations to lay the ground for our work together, we talk about the change organizations are working for and about how we can develop processes to measure the effects and impact of their work;
- Perioadă de minim 3 luni de zile de întâlniri și lucru online în care:
– vom realiza diferite întâlniri de rețea pe teme specifice legate de măsurarea și comunicarea impactului (i.e. ce înseamnă date, cum le colectăm, cum măsurăm schimbarea de percepție, cum comunicăm impactul din perspectiva unor obiective organizaționale clare) dar și pentru a crea spațiul unei comunități de practică între organizații provenind din diferite zone ale țării;
– organizațiile din program vor primi coaching și mentorat cu privire la modalități de adoptare și adaptare a instrumentelor de măsurare și comunicare a impactului. - Final network meeting: in 2024 we will meet in Bucharest for a final offline event, where we will discuss the learnings from the program and explore how we can create in the future as many collective impact experiences as possible.

Final network event
In program #impact3 we will work with organizations that have made some efforts in the direction of organizational development (not with beginners but also not extensively experienced), organizations that have not yet had the opportunity to go through extensive impact related processes, but that are interested, motivated and willing to have the impact conversation in their teams and to start using impact measurement and communication tools.
For this call, we are looking to select around 20 organizations per cohort, based on the following criteria:
- Organizations that are motivated and ready for an organizational transformation process in the field of impact measurement;
- Organizations that understand that the development activities are guided and mentored by the CSDF, but that effectively applying the planned actions is their responsibility;
- Organizations that understand that some positive effects of the development actions realized or started during the program can be visible on the short term (if we refer to specific
activities), but most will be visible later on, since this development process is a long term one; - Organizations that are willing to actively participate in the program and can commit to the process on a medium term.

Organizations will be selected based on a complete and correct completion of the above mentioned form, as well as based on their motivation to participate and their availability to be actively and constantly involved during the whole period of the program.
